Cabro’s NOXO T catalysts make use of platinum as the active metal, making them ideal for the removal of hydrogen as an impurity from oxygen streams. Unlike palladium-based catalysts, the platinum formulation is not inhibited by the presence of oxygen, even at room temperature. These catalysts are also commonly used for the purification of exhaust gases, removing carbon monoxide and volatile organic compounds through catalytic combustion. Additionally, the NOXO T catalysts find application in the purification of carbon dioxide streams, where they can effectively remove hydrogen contamination in industrial urea production plants, by adjusting platinum content based on the operating pressure.
