CARE 712 is recommended for a wide range of reactions typical of Platinum on activated carbon catalysts, such as nitro group reductions to hydroxylamine, dinitrotoluene to toluendiamine, imine to primary amine, hydrazones to hydrazines, ketones to the corresponding alcohol.
