CARE 711 is recommended for a wide range of reactions typical of Platinum catalysts on activated carbon, such as the reduction of nitro groups to hydroxylamine, dinitrotoluene to toluendiamine, imine to primary amine, hydrazones to hydrazines, ketones to the corresponding alcohol.
