Cabro owns the scientific know-how and a large experience in industrial production of PGM catalysts carried on activated carbons in powder or other carriers of different chemical composition and shape. This in-depth knowledge allows Cabro to adapt and modify the standard catalysts for fitting Customer requirements; Cabro can design a dedicated and innovative catalyst, which can satisfy specific requests from Customers in terms of conversion, yield and selectivity under the industrial process conditions (reactor geometry, mixing, stirrer shape, pressure, temperature , solvent, catalyst loading, etc.).
The focused modification of catalyst recipes and the adjustment of the reaction conditions is a crucial point for Cabro’s R&D, that can be realized thanks to our in-depth knowledge of the main parameters in the catalyst synthesis; for instance, the modification of the active sites distribution of nano crystals within the porous texture of the carrier.
