CARE 7614 is a specially designed catalyst for the hydrogenation of Chloro-aromatic nitro compounds to obtain high yields of corresponding anilines with high selectivity (negligible dechlorination and formation of heavy products), avoiding the accumulation of the corresponding hydroxylamine intermediates.
